Just finished peeping this dude's videos over at Music Nerdery, and I instantly found myself nodding my head to this cat's songs. This is Shad and he is a Canadian raised MC. This cat definitely knows how to rhyme and his videos are..well awesome! Well, I'll let you all be the judges. Highly recommend checking out the "Rose Garden" video.
Moruf - Cannon
What's there to say about Moruf? How about the fact that I never heard any of his music until now...what a mistake that was. This New Jersey resident is a really skilled storyteller with this raps. And that, to me, is something that I like in artists. This cat definitely should be definitely keep coming with more tracks like this one. And if you enjoyed the track as much as I did, then you should get his mixtape, Garden State Of Mind: Ready To Live.

The Five One - Closing Time
Near the middle of this song you may recognize that the sample sounds a bit familiar. That's because it's from the original "Closing Time" from the group Semisonic, that came out back in '99. Now this talented group, The Five One, puts their own spin on this track and they do an amazing job at it. Definitely a track you want to give a listen to.
